MUSGRAVEA TRAIL
If you’re looking for a trail for the family, a recreational ride under the rainforest canopy rather than atop the sand, or simply hunting for swimming holes, the Musgravea trail is a must ride. Situated along the backside of Mission Beach, the trail links the north and south ends of the township via a wide 4WD like track rolling gently through undulations on the outer edges of the dense Djiru National Park. The trail is straight forward and is suitable for all ages, with the real excitement laying in the beauty of the bush and its inhabiting wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the endangered Southern Cassowary as they are known to share the trail.

Mission Wellness is a community project with a long term vision to establish Mission Beach as an all-year-round wellness destination. Inspired by the unique beauty and calming sense of wellness that this area evokes in its own right, we have created an event to highlight and showcase all that our beautiful community and land have on offer. All registered activities are indicated with a Yellow Bali Flag. There may be a small charge for some activities. Headquarters are at the Progress Hall on Porter Promenade to find out the latest!
AMAZONS AUSTRALIA
5-8 July 2026
The Amazons Australia will see all-female teams of two embark on a 3-day extreme adventure, combining trekking, navigation, mountain biking, paddling and mystery challenges to test their skills and resilience in the heart of Australia's rugged and brutal tropics. As this is a stage event, teams will race by day, then rest, relax and recover by night. ARWS and Tri Adventure are thrilled to present the second edition of The Amazons Australia. The 2025 event was the first ever ARWS all-female multi-day stage adventure race. Location - Mission Beach, Australia in July 2026.
